This ACT pilot bearing/bushing is developed for Mazda RX-7 and Mazda RX-8 and the other applications listed below. The component is matched to the relevant clutch or drivetrain system; verify engine, transmission and vehicle version for exact compatibility.

The pilot bearing/bushing supports the end of the transmission input shaft and helps keep it correctly centred. It is a sensible replacement during clutch or flywheel work.
