Installation instructions

1. Before installation, compare the new distributor with the original part and check the engine code.

2. Disconnect the battery before working on the ignition system.

3. If necessary, mark the position of the original distributor relative to the cylinder head.

4. Disconnect the connector(s) and spark plug wires from the old distributor. Mark the wires to ensure they are reinstalled in the correct positions.

5. Remove the mounting bolts and carefully remove the old distributor from the cylinder head.

6. Install the Ashuki ignition distributor in the same position as the original unit.

7. Tighten the mounting bolts and reconnect the connector(s) and spark plug wires correctly.

8. Reconnect the battery and check that the engine starts and idles normally.

9. Check the ignition timing after installation and adjust it if required according to the Honda CR-V factory specifications.
